Byrne & Co., boots and shoes; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1887 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1889 term; editor, the Tribune Press (1889-1893); engaged, Byrne Gas Coal Company; president, Broadway National Bank of Scottdale; chair, Fayette County Republican Committee; died, October 2, 1932 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania; Interred, St. John’s Cemetery, Scottdale, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
