BRACE, Henry, a Representative from Warren County; born, April 9, 1842 in Green Township, Erie County, Pa.; private, Company A, 111th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861, Civil War); engaged, lumber business; elected, sheriff, Warren County (1876-1879); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1885 and 1887 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1889 term; died, November 2, 1908 in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County, California; interred, Wales Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
