WILLIAMS, William Lloyd, a Representative from Luzerne County; born, July 25, 1860 in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire County, Wales; graduated, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1886; coal miner; teacher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1888; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1890); principal, Madera school district; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Madera, Ca. (1903-1916); died, May 16, 1941 in Madera, Madera County, California.
