HAGER, Salmon S., a Representative from Wayne County; born, January 18, 1842 in Schoharie County, NY; first lieutenant, Company F, 141st Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1865, Civil War); shoemaker; seated as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 1887 term as a result of contested election, February 8, 1887; reelected to the House inĀ 1888; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1890); station agent, Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Company, Gouldsboro; died, December 24, 1901 in Gouldsboro, Wayne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lehigh Cemetery, Gouldsboro, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
