TYLER, Harry Blake, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, November 20, 1852 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, Harvard College, 1874; elected, common council, Philadelphia (1885-1886); gubernatorial appointee, commissioner, construction of the Industrial Reformatory at Huntingdon (1887-1888); manager, Industrial Reformatory at Huntingdon (1888-1890); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1891 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1893 term; died, July 28, 1914 in Saranac Lake, Franklin County, New York; interred, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
