SUMNER, Archibald B., a Representative from Bradford County; born, March 23, 1836 in Washington, Wyoming County, Pa.; attended, Wyoming Seminary; teacher; farmer; secretary, Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Company of Spring Hill, Pa.; elected as a Fusionist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1890; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1892); died, January 13, 1917 in Tuscarora, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
