POTTER, Alonzo A., a Representative from Crawford County; born, 1838 in Ohio; graduated, Grand River Institute, 1858; school teacher (10 years); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1889 and 1891 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1892); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1898); elected, school board, secretary, Conneaut Township (11 years); elected, justice of the peace (4 terms); died, December 21, 1921 in Conneaut Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Linesville Cemetery, Linesville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
