L. Jones & Son, lumber business; auditor; school director; overseer of the poor; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1889 and 1891 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1893 term; engaged, real estate; died, November 5, 1934 in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Leverington Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
