JONES, David Russell, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 10, 1852 in Swanson, Wales; graduated, Mt. Union College, 1878; laborer; underground engineer; teacher; member, Miners’ and Operations’ Board of Arbitration and Conciliation (1879); lawyer (1882-1948); elected, burgess, Homestead (2 terms); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1888 and 1890; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1892); died, December 22, 1948 at Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
