TENAGLIO, Francis X., a Representative from Delaware County; born, January 8, 1949 in Darby, Delaware County, Pa.; graduated, Cardinal O’Hara High School; B.S., social science, West Chester State College (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania), 1971; attended, Widener College; attended, University of Scranton; senior teller, Western Savings Bank (4 years); licensed real estate salesperson; member, Chester City Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1977 term; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1979 term; account executive, Rothacker Advertising (1982-1984); manager and director of marketing, Sharon Savings Bank (1984-1991); social studies teacher, South Philadelphia High School (1991-2005); unsuccessful campaign, Governor of New Jersey (2005).
