FRANKLIN, Walter Withers, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 12, 1858 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pa.; attended, St. Mary’s Academy; attended, Franklin and Marshall College; teacher, St. Mary’s Academy; attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1888 and 1890; seated as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1893 term as a result of contested election, May 16, 1893; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); solicitor, Farmers Trust Company; died, June 27, 1913 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
