DONAHUE, Eugene, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, January 12, 1853 in Locust Township, Columbia County, Pa.; miner, Philadelphia and Reading Coal and Iron Company; elected, council, Girardville, Schuylkill County, Pa.; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1888 and 1890; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1892); engaged, real estate; saloon keeper; engaged, mercantile business; unsuccessful campaign, prothonotary, Schuylkill County (1896); railroad foreman, Texas and New Mexico; died, August 23, 1921 in Tucumcari, Quay County, New Mexico; interred, Tucumcari Memorial Park, Tucumcari, Quay County, New Mexico.
