DAVIS, Dr. Arthur H., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pa., August 27, 1841; M.D., University of Pennsylvania, 1865; physician; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives during a Special Election on April 4, 1891; Sworn-In, April 20, 1891 to serve the remaining 1891 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1892); died, March 21, 1906 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
