CRIBBS, John Louis, a Representative from Clarion County; born, April 24, 1842 in Monroe Township, Clarion County, Pa.; private, Company E, 62nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1864, Civil War); farmer; carpenter; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1891 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1893 term; employed, Pennsylvania Office of Adjutant-General (1894-1896); died, April 23, 1911 in New Bethlehem, Clarion County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Bethlehem Cemetery, New Bethlehem, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
