WOOD, Dr. George Glenn, a Representative from Lycoming County; born, March 19, 1848 in Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County, Pa.; graduated, West Branch High School; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1872; physician and surgeon; contributor, Philadelphia Medical Times; elected as a Democrat to the House in 1888 and 1892; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1890); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); died, February 23, 1917 in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Muncy Cemetery, Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
