WILSON, Nicholas G., a Representative from Adams County; born, October 6, 1832 in Menallen Township, Adams County, Pa.; first sergeant, Company G, 138th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1865, Civil War); blacksmith; appointed, superintendent, Gettysburg National Cemetery (15 years); director, Battlefield Memorial Association, Gettysburg; elected, council, Gettysburg (3 years); elected, school board president, Gettysburg (3 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); died, December 5, 1907 in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bendersville Cemetery,  Bendersville, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
