(1862-1872, 1875-1885); elected, school director, Kemblesville; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1890 and 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); died, February 10, 1917 in Kemblesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
