ROBINSON, James P., a Representative from York County; born, September 22, 1840 in Cecil County, Md.; farmer; engaged in mercantile business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1884; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886); school director (6 years); reelected to the House in 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); proprietor, tavern; died, January 19, 1918 in Chanceford Township, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shenks Ferry, York County, Pennsylvania.
