REED, William F., a Representative from Mercer County; born, October 10, 1849 in Coolspring Township, Mercer County, Pa.; attended, New Lebanon Academy; farmer; stock dealer; elected, delegate, Republican State Convention (1885); director, Farmers and Mechanics National Bank; director, Mercer County Trust Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1892; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1894); died, June 22, 1911 in Mercer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mercer Citizens Cemetery, Mercer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
