QUINNAN, John Patrick, a Representative from Lackawanna County; born, April 18, 1859 in Scranton, Luzerne County (now Lackawanna County), Pa.; graduated, valedictorian, Scranton High School, 1877; school teacher; principal; member, board of health, Lackawanna County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1892); unseated by contest, May 16, 1893; attorney-at-law (1894-1917); elected, city council, Scranton; elected, vice chair, Lackawanna County Democratic Committee; died, August 18, 1917 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
