Moyles & Company and Higgins and Moyles, book sellers; elected, chair, Third District Democratic Committee, Luzerne County (1887); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1890 and 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); unsuccessful campaign as a Citizens Party candidate for reelection to the House (1902); unsuccessful campaign, controller, Luzerne County (1907); unsuccessful campaign as a Democratic candidate, Pennsylvania State Senate (1908); elected, justice of the peace; founder and owner, Prospect Rock Electric Light Heat and Power Company; died, December 16, 1953 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
