MILLER, Ephraim D., a Representative from Somerset County; born, May 9, 1847 near Gebharts, Somerset County, Pa.; teacher (1865-1871); elected, Milford Township School Board (1872-1877); proprietor, general store (1871-1889); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Rockwood (1871-1885); elected, Rockwood School Board (1881-1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1891 and 1893 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); engaged in real estate; lumber dealer; died, July 7, 1916 in Rockwood, Somerset County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rockwood, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
