METZGER, Owen Goodman, a Representative from Potter County; born in Hebron Township, Potter County, Pa., February 22, 1853; lumberer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1890); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1892; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1894); appointed, commissioner, Potter County (1905); president, Citizens Safe Deposit and Trust Company; president, American Silver Trust Company; died July 30, 1938 in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania.
