HEYBURN, George Edward, a Representative from Delaware County; born, February 21, 1864 in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, Pa.; attended, Maplewood Institute; graduated, Chester Valley Academy, Coatesville; farmer; elected, president, Delaware County School Directors Association (1889); unsuccessful campaign for election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1890); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1894, 1896); died, April 17, 1900 in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; interred, Brandywine Baptist Church Cemetery, Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
