WANNEMACHER, Perry, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, June 17, 1838 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pa.; attended, Union Seminary; farmer; teacher; superintendent, Carbon & Thomas Iron Company; proprietor, Wannemacher & Company’s Boot and Shoe Store (1886-1892); engaged, coal and lumber businesses (1893-1894); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1894; died while in office, August 31, 1895 in Macungie, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union-West End Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
