SNIVELY, Edwin Shields, a Representative from Franklin County; born, June 15, 1864 in Shady Grove, Franklin County, Pa.; B.S., Ursinus College, 1881; engaged in mercantile business; farmer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1894; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); postmaster, United States Postal Service (1889-1893); died, September 25, 1912; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery; Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
