SCAIFE, Oliver Perry, Jr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, July 15, 1869 in Allegheny City (now Pittsburgh), Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh); graduated, Yale University (1889); attorney-at-law; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1894; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1896); died, July 4, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
