SALINGER, Richard, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, October 17, 1851 in Mecklenburg, Germany; graduated, Central High School; attorney (1880-1909); secretary, Disston Land Companies of Florida (1882); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the 1895 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1897 term; died, February 6, 1909 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Sinai Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
