(1 term); elected, burgess, Scottdale (3 terms); seated as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1893 term as result of contested election, April 18, 1893; reelected to the House for the 1895 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1897 term; millwright; died, December 23, 1918 in Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Scottdale Cemetery, Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
