PENNEWILL, Walton, a Representative from Philadelphia County, born, February 15, 1861 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, Central High School, 1878; graduated, law department, University of Pennsylvania, 1881; lawyer (1882-1897); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1893 and 1895 terms; reelected to the 1897 term, but did not get Sworn-In; chief deputy sheriff, Philadelphia County (1897); died, October 28, 1946 in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
