McALLISTER, Theodore B., a Representative from Adams County; born, February 5, 1842 near Gettysburg, Adams County, Pa.; sergeant, Company C, First Maryland Cavalry (1861-1865, Civil War: prisoner of war, 1864-1865); farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1886); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1894; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); died, August 8, 1924 in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
