HUNTER, Archibald Boyd, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, December 17, 1848 in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.; farmer; elected, auditor, South Huntingdon Township; elected, delegate, Republican State Convention (1885); seated as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1893 term as result of a contested election, April 18, 1893; reelected to the House for the 1895 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1897 term; president, Sewickley Fire Insurance Company; died, May 11, 1904 in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sewickley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Yukon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
