TROUT, Amos, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, April 13, 1831 in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.; farmer; elected, president, school board of directors, Mount Pleasant Township (1875-1876); elected, president, poor board, Mount Pleasant Township (1885-1886); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1897 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1899 term; died, November 14, 1910 in Weavers Old Stand, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
