LYTLE, Peregrin Marion, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, February 6, 1840 in Franklin Township, Huntingdon County, Pa.; attended, Tuscarora Academy; quartermaster’s clerk, Department of Military Railroads at Chattanooga, Tn. (1862-1865, Civil War): teacher; lawyer (1862-1898); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1888, 1890, 1892, 1894, and 1896; resigned from the House, April 30, 1898; appointed, surveyor of the Port of Philadelphia (15 years); died, October 20, 1931 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County;  Pennsylvania.
