HEAGY, John M., a Representative from Dauphin County; born, June 10, 1857 in Upper Swatara Township, Dauphin County, Pa.; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); farmer; engaged, livery business; elected, burgess, Steelton (1890-1891); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1894 and 1896; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1898); engaged, real estate business; engaged, fire insurance business; employed, clerk, United States Congress, Washington DC; died, January 30, 1926 in Steelton, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Baldwin Cemetery, Steelton, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
