MARSHALL, John Henry, a Representative from Chester County; born, January 19, 1841 in East Marlborough Township, Chester County, Pa.; attended, Ercildown Academy, Kennett Square Academy, and Unionville Academy; attended, Deerfield Academy, Ma.; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); farmer; dry goods and grocery merchant; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1894 and 1896; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1898); died, December 23, 1913 in Kennett Square, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
