CRITTENDEN, Willard William, a Representative from Potter County; born in Oswayo, Potter County, Pa., September 6, 1853; farmer; engaged, lumber industry; superintendent, New York and Pennsylvania Railroad Company (6 years); president, Oswayo Oil & Gas Company; elected, poormaster, Potter County (9 years); school director; owner, Hotel Crittenden, Coudersport; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1900); engaged, real estate; died, December 11, 1922 in Oswayo, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, Wells Cemetery, Oswayo, Potter County, Pennsylvania.
