MEYER, Ezra, a Representative from Lebanon County; born, February 26, 1842 in North Annville Township, Lebanon County, Pa.; attended, Lebanon Valley Institute (now Lebanon Valley College); private, Company F, 27th Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Militia (1863, Civil War); teacher (12 years); elected, justice of the peace (2 terms); elected, city council, Lebanon (4 terms); engaged in farming and milling; engaged in real estate; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); died, May 5, 1907 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
