HEIDELBAUGH, Milton, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, April 19, 1843 in Bart Township, Lancaster County, Pa.; attended, Maple Grove Academy; private, Company C, 50th Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Militia (1863, Civil War); store clerk; teacher (3 years); proprietor, general store (20 years); engaged, lumber business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1884; reelected to the House in 1892, 1894, 1896, and 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1886, 1900); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1901-1908); appointed, trustee, Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home, Erie (1907-1908); died in the office of Senate, February 10, 1908 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
