KREPS, William C., a Representative from Franklin County; born, May 27, 1853 in Greencastle, Franklin County, Pa.; attended, Chambersburg Academy; engaged in mercantile business; agent, Adams Express Company; lawyer (1883-1903); proprietor, Echo-Pilot newspaper; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1888 and 1898; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1890); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); died, January 12, 1903 in Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
