DUMBAULD, Horatio Snyder, a Representative from Fayette County; born, May 15, 1869 in Salt Lick Township, Fayette County, Pa.; L.L.S., Mount Union College, 1895; superintendent of schools, Vanderbilt (1895-1898); lawyer (1899); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1899 term; appointed, United States District Attorney for Western Pennsylvania; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1914); elected, president judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Fayette County (1935-1945); died, October 29, 1945 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; Interred, Dickerson Run Union Cemetery, Dickerson Run, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
