EDMISTON, Robert Scott, a Representative from Bradford County; born, April 24, 1841 in Milan, Bradford County, Pa.; second lieutenant, Company H, 57th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1863, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1896 and 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1901-1908); died, October 24, 1925 in Milan, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
