Lebanon High School, 1970; B.S., real estate/insurance, The Pennsylvania State University, 1974; graduated, Western New England College School of Law, 1977; businessman; attorney, Thomas L. Stevenson & Associates; elected, commissioner, Mt. Lebanon (1990-1997); part owner, Master Settlement Service Incorporated; part owner, Mortgage Bankers Service Corporation; board member, Allegheny County Airport Authority; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1996; reelected to 4 consecutive terms thereafter; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (2006).
