SPATZ, Charles Busch, a Representative from Berks County; born, November 25, 1865 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; attended, Kallynean Academy and Mt. Pleasant Seminary, Boyertown; editor and publisher, Boyertown Democrat and Der Boyertown Bauer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1896 and 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1906, 1914, 1916, 1918); died, March 14, 1929 in Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
