GOEBEL, Ronald Paul, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., September 8, 1936; graduated, West View High School; attended: Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Ivy School of Art, Carnegie-Mellon, and Allegheny County Community College; sheet metal craftsman; air brush artist; unsuccessful campaign to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1970); school director, North Hills School District (1971-1976); past vice president, Civic Association of North Hills; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1976; reelected in 1978; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1980); president, Pennsyltucky Historical Society; died, October 30, 2020 in Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
