FLECK, Daniel Robert, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Oxnard, Ventura County, Ca., October 23, 1949; graduated, Canevin Catholic High School, 1967; B.S., Cornell University, 1971; M.B.A., University of Pittsburgh, 1978; foodservice consultant; director, Pittsburgh Public Schools Foodservice Advisory Board (1977-1980); director, Thornburg Recreational Board (1980); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1980; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1982); unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Allegheny County (1991); member and past president, Thornburg Council; commissioner, State Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board; proprietor, The Red Bull Inn, Maggie Mae’s and Pittsburgh Chop House; died, March 3, 2011 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
