HEISER, Loraine Mary, "Lori," a Representative from Allegheny County; born, April 20, 1928 in Chicago, Cook County, Il.; graduated, Carl Schurz High School; B.S., Northern Illinois University, 1949; home economic teacher, Chicago public schools; hospital dietician; delegate, Governor’s Conference on Libraries; chair, Ross Township Republican Party; co-chair, Allegheny County Republican Leadership Training; elected, alternate delegate, Republican National Convention (1976); chair, Dick Thornburgh Governor campaign (1978); candidate, Allegheny County Home Rule Study Commission (1978); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1982); gubernatorial appointee, Pennsylvania Securities Commission (1985-1992); died, September 21, 2014 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
