PENDLETON, William Watkins, Sr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Ford City, Armstrong County, Pa., January 18, 1940; graduated, Ford City High School, 1959; B.S., Indiana State College (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania), 1963; commissioned officer, United States Army and Pennsylvania National Guard (1963-1970); management consultant; commissioner, Pittsburgh Model Cities Program (1973-1976); elected as Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1982).
