WILLIAMS, James D., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in the city of Baltimore, Md., February 18, 1943; graduated, Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, 1961; graduated, Brown’s Preparatory College, 1963; proprietor, James Williams Detective Agency; licensed private detective, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (1974-1980); chair, Committee to elect Lucien E. Blackwell, mayor of Philadelphia (1978-1979); vice chair, 46th Ward Democratic Executive Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1981, 1983, and 1985 terms; died while in office, March 13, 1985 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
