SWIFT, Charles Thomas, a Representative from Crawford County; born in Meadville, Crawford County, Pa., October 17, 1944; B.S., Edinboro State College (now Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro), 1965; M.S., University of South Carolina, 1971; served, United States Army (1968-1970); teacher; investment salesman; office manager; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1979 term and served 3 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1986).
